What does Dr Spittaler do?
Neurosurgery refers to surgery on the nervous system. This includes the brain, and the blood vessels supplying it, the spine and spinal cord, and nerves in the body that control our movements and allow us to feel sensation.
A neurosurgeon has unique training to be able to treat many of these potentially life altering, or life threatening, problems.
Dr Spittaler has extensive surgical experience and this allows him valuable insight in outcomes and expectations for patients. He is interested in gaining the best results possible for every one of his patients. He is interested in keeping up with worlds best practise and recently has travelled to Europe, Asia and the Middle East to offer education and confer with peers in best practice and cutting edge technology.
